Schubert - Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major D 485 1 - 5 October 2008

The study project on Schubert's Fifth Symphony, with just thirteen strings and seven winds, was one of the smallest and most intimate ever - like a real chamber music experience. The concert, which took place in a little church in Formigine on a Sunday afternoon in October, will remain one of the most musically warm and personal moments in the relationship between Spira mirabilis and its audience.
